It is important to note that not all injuries can be treated with Neuromuscular and Physical therapy. Some contraindications to treatment include:

• Open Wounds
• Muscle/ Tendon Rupture
• Suspected Bone Fracture/ Break
• Infectious Disease
• Arthritis
• Inflammation
• Osteoporosis

There may be times, as in the case of clients showing any of the above symptoms, that we will refrain from offering NMT as a form of treatment, as it may adversely affect the condition of the patient.

The Inishowen Injury Clinic reserves the right to refuse service to: (i) Any client that behaves in an inappropriate manner. (ii) Any client that presents a medical condition that may be contraindicated to sports massage therapy. (iii) To anyone, for any reason, with or without stating a cause, if the staff deem it appropriate.
